SUNDAY (Sandro Hit x Donnerhall daughter Donatella)

In 2009 Sunday’s career began with the outstanding victory in the 70-day test in Warendorf, final score of 132.38. He received an outstanding score of 9.5 for ride-ability, temperament and trot, a 9.25 for his canter and 9.0 for his character. At the age of four he secured the vice-title of the Westphalian champion and took part in the Federal Championship for the first time. In 2011, he was a finalist both in the Federal Championship and at the World Cup of five-year dressage horses.... (read more) He repeated this at the age of six, winning bronze at the Federal Championship. He has recorded numerous victories and placements up to Grand Prix level over the years, as a result of which he was awarded the abbreviation “NRW” in sport.
His offspring have also had great success. In 2018 and 2019, his son SenSation HW won the US championship of 5-and 6-year-old dressage horses. He has now moved to the riding of the Olympic rider Laura Graves and became another US champion under her in 2022. His licensed son Silverline, in 2017 was presented and was the Westphalian champion of the three-year-old riding horse stallions. In the meantime, Sunday also has 87 offspring with placings in sport up to the Grand Prix De Dressage International.
Five daughters of SUNDAY were awarded the state premium. Here in the states he has produced the top mare on the US tour as well as several talented dressage horses competing through the Grand Prix. His performance tested daughters have had above average jumps scores at their testing so we feel he will also produce some very nice jumping horses and are excited to have him in the United States!
