Custom Chrome is a sorrel frame overo registered Shetland stallion. At 11 hands, he is a taller Shetland and foundation type, with substance, excellent conformation and a beautiful head.

2024 will be Chrome’s 8th breeding season. He has sired many frame overo foals (usually on mares with socks and face markings), as well as tobiano and solid color foals. Foal coat colors have been sorrel, bay, silver bay and buckskin, to date.... (read more)

Most of Chrome’s foals have gone on to be riding and/or driving ponies, as well as showing in halter. They are generally easy to work with and have a desire to please.

Pony mares as well as saddle-size mares up to 16 hands accepted. Mares must be trained to lead and stand tied with no hind shoes. Hand breeding / live cover only. Stallion breeding certificates issued for registered Shetland mares. For all other breeds and or grade mares, stallion breeding certificate issued for Sport Pony registration certificate.
