ApHC 2019 BHF Exclusive Dreams is a 14.3 hands high 86% foundation Appaloosa with Dreamfinder, Mighty King, Total Recall lines and going back to Mighty Bright and Bright Eyes brother. His sire was 14.2 hands high and his dam was 16.1 hands high. There is a chance he is not done growing and that his sired foals could be taller as well.
He has been started under saddle and is taking a late spring and early summer break for friends and acquaintances that expressed a desire in breeding their mares to him.... (read more) He will be returning to training in July. We decided to offer him at stud to the public for those that may be interested.
We exposed three of our mares last year. A chestnut varnish Appaloosa mare, she foaled a sorrel leopard colt. A frosted grulla Appaloosa mare, she foaled a grulla snowcap or few spot colt. And a grulla quarter mare, she foaled a red dun filly with rump markings.
Stud fee is $450 with mare care at $10 a day for 5 days for a total fee of $500. If mares are not picked up on time it will be an additional $25 a day till they are picked up. Mares must have a current coggins. Mares cannot be shod because we only offer live cover. Mares must be halter and lead broke for our safety and the safety of the stallion. Quarter horse mare owners, (Non Appaloosa mare owners.. AQHA, Arabian, jockey club) must pay the Appaloosa club a one time fee of $75 to have their mare listed as acceptable outcross breedings for Appaloosa club. There is also a $40 fee for DNA waiver to have UC Davis send over the mares DNA to have on file. These fees are not included in the stud fee, they are in addition to the stud fee and payable to the Appaloosa Horse Club. This ensures you mare can be listed on the stud report and that you will be sent the breeders certificate to register your foal with ApHC. Tennessee Walking Horse owners wishing to breed their mares will not have to pay the extra fees to Appaloosa Club because their foals will not receive ApHC papers. Their foals are considered Walkaloosas. Same for paint horse mare owners wishing to breed their mares. Their foals would be ineligible for ApHC papers. Those foals would be Pintaloosas. Live foal guarantee.
