Phoenix is a grade miniature stallion standing around 38" tall. He has a beautiful dark bay coat and a fairly calm and easy going personality! He is correct in his legs with a thick mane and very sleek build when he sheds off in the summer. We are hoping to stand Pheonix to a couple mares this season and for many more to come!

Blackwater Ranch

Blackwater Ranch is the name of my small horse breeding ranch. I plan to focus on primarily stock breeds though I'm just getting started again after taking a few years away from horses to go to college! Currently I have a lovely foundation bred Quarter Horse mare - Dee Frontier Flower (aka Starlight) - who will be helping me get back into the breeding world! My facilities are small at the moment and I will be focused more on my private ventures than public works at the moment.... (read more) With any luck this spring Starlight will progress nicely into some light riding and simple shows and be bred to a local Foundation stallion I've had my eye on for some time now. Depending on how she handles getting back in the saddle I may offer basic lessons with her for younger students though that is completely dependent on her.
