Additional Comments:
Comet is a gorgeous, rich Golden Buckskin Stallion with dapples and dark black mane/tail/legs. He has outstanding and old-time conformation, which is rarely found in a buckskin-colored Rocky. He possesses a smooth trail pleasure gait, and a laid-back disposition. Besides winning numerous under-saddle ribbons in West Coast Gaited Shows, he has been extensively trail ridden in the high Cascade Mountains of Oregon.

Buckskin is a rare color in our breed, and there are less than 20 Certified to Breed and "Proven" Buckskin Stallions in the USA on the RMHA pedigree database, as of 2012. Of all the RMHA pedigrees listed for this color, you will not find better lineage to TOBE than what Comet possesses. His bloodlines include: 3 SONS of TOBE: Sam Clemons' Tim (dam's sire), Kilburn's Chocolate Sundown, Yankee, as well as Sambo, Little Red, King's Blondie (granddaughter of TOBE) which makes his blood almost 44% foundation Tobe lines.

Comet has earned a nationwide reputation for producing exceptional offspring. Because these offspring are always in demand, it is not always easy to find one available for sale. If you have a special mare, and your goal is to produce exceptional offspring, please call us to arrange stud service to Comet.

A Wildfire Farm - Home of "Nuncio's Ozark Wildfire" and the author of the book "Rocky Mountain Horses" Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of north central Arkansas, Wildfire Farm is one of the few locations available in this region to view and purchase registered Rocky Mountain Horses. Stallion services offered are second to none. There is something to be said of "QUALITY versus Quantity", and our passion is producing quality foals and offering quality stud services. As seen in the pictures on our website, our stallions are truly outstanding examples of the old-time Rocky Mountain Horses of the early 1900's. Their wonderful traits and characteristics were meticulously matched with our gorgeous black mares to compliment each other for breeding purposes. Our mares are such a joy to own, ride, and raise foals for us. We think you will agree our foals are top notch in every way.
