Champion of the 2013 100-day-long test taking place in Boguslawice, the only training centre and test of its kind in Poland. Goethe took 1st place and turned out to be the best among 46 other stallions that took part in the training competition. The four-year-old, well broken in, received the highest marks in jumping and dressage. This thoroughbred is of 100% descent from an excellent line of German sport horses, and 90% from Hanoverian stock. Goethe's mother is a descendent of Graf Top, from the excellent Grannus jumping line. Graf Top, a descendent of Graf Grannus X Calypso II, won the title of the Hanoverian stallion of the year in 2011. Graf Grannus won the same title in 2004. Goethe's father, Ulco KWPN, took 2nd place at the training centre competition in Bialy Bor in 2004. Ulco graduated from the training centre with a jumping index of 134 points / dressage index of 127. The horse moves with grace and has an enormous jumping disposition. Ulco's 4 sons have been sold to owners in Great Britain, where they were successful at eventing competitions. Goethe has a remarkable character and is a natural jumper. He jumps lightly and with ease, both loose and under a jockey, and has minimal training needs. Goethe presents an excellent jumping technique, moves gracefully as well as vigorously. He has great talent, particularly in dressage, as well as eye-catching beauty. The horse has long legs, with markings on all fours, and a well-proportioned body build. Goethe has a Polish passport. Goethe has two sisters: Goplana, which took 3rd place (out of 30) in 2009 at the Bialy Bor training competition, and Granulka which took 2nd place (out of 14) and had an unbelievable 10 point score under a random jockey in riding skills and sports disposition.
