14 hands Major is double registered APHA horse and PtHA pony. He has been tested homozygous for the Black gene and is OLWS negative. Major is intelligent and athletic with a quiet disposition and unique rare color. He is a natural western pleasure mover with a 10+ lope, a natural headset and a very cadenced rhythm with nice soft slow legged way of moving. Major is bred to perform, but you wouldn't think a horse built to halter could move so good. He is a must see. Many champions and point earners close up in his pedigree including Doc OLena, Great Pine, Jabalina Chex & RW The Rock. With limited showing Major has earned High Point Stock Pony at the 2005 MN PtHA Sampler Show, and has received his ROMs in Halter and Color. He was also ranked #1 in the Nation in his Pinto Halter Division. Majors first foals were born in 2005 and they have amazing conformation, color, and very trainable personalities. His foals seem to be born broke - they live for attention and like to learn and are willing to work. Majors first foal shown - Biebers Calypso earned 2005 PtHA Open Futurity Stock Pony Reserve Champion and 25 points in halter and color at his first show - earning him erd Place Nationally; and 6th place overall for 2005 MN PtHA S/H Pony Halter despite showing in only 1 of the shows. Majors foals have also earned Futurity Grand Champion and Futurity Reserve Champions in 2006 and 2007. Major and His foals will also be shown in 2008. Major has several 1/2 siblings (AQHA) that are point and money earners in Reining, Western Pleasure, Roping, etc. We also have AQHA stallion services available at our SD location.
