Zanaqu is bred from some of the best Dutch Lines out there. His pedigree is filled with 6 international names in the first 3 generations alone!! View his pedigree! He was born in 2004. Currently standing 16 hands and will mature close to 16.2 hh, His dam stands 17.2 hh. Injured as a yearling Zanaqu may never be able to make it through the CWHBA stallion approval process, however his amazing pedigree is now available to outside mares for a reasonable price! Zanaqu has large bone, lovely movement, and a wonderful dispostion. He is an all around stallion, and would excell for any sport you would want to breed for. Foals by Zanaqu out of approved CWHBA mares may be registered with the CWHBA for $185.
Update from his 2007 breeding season: Zanaqu successfully bred 11 mares in 2007, all of the mares caught on the first breeding, he consistently had a motility of 80%. He bred a some older mares and a few maiden mares all with excellent success which included a few overnight shipments. We look forward to seeing his first foals, which are expected to hit the ground in April.
His father GOODTIMES was the champion of his stallion test at the age of 3. He has produced multiple international mounts in both the Jumper and Dressage ring. He has sired several approved sons, champion foals and mares. Some known Goodtimes offspring are Audi Mr. Lopez, Luwanda, Lowlands,Lavendal,Kluivert,Tilders,Gabanta, London Times and Kenwood.
His grand sire and great grand sire NIMMERDOR is one of the most influencial "Foundation" stallions of the Dutch Warmblood Registry. Nimmerdor is currently ranked 29th on the World Breeding Federation ranking for the period 1992/2001 on the basis of a staggering 42(!) international level jumpers. In 2000, Nimmerdor was elected 'the stallion of the 20th century' in the Netherlands. At the moment, 25% of the top 150 Dutch jumping horses are out of Nimmerdor mares.
His Dam's Sire AHORN, (also by NIMMERDOR) not only competed internationally himself, but then became a top sire, with his son AK High Valley Z winning the TNT Sires of the Century competition for the past two years running!
