Additional Comments:
Black was shown in 1994. You can verify this in the stud book. In the two year old class, he got a 1st and two 6ths on the three score cards. In the Stake Class he got a 1st, 3rd, and 6th to come in 5th. He was only shown 1 year and he was being bred that year so was probably not as good as he could have been. Judge Clarence Zigenbien remembered him well. He said he had both a great walk and trot but lacked a bit of headshake. Headshake takes time and training to enhance, which is harder on a stud that is being used for breeding. He is a really big licked and loose gaited horse. You can see by his pictures that he has a slim, long-backed confirmation with beautiful big eyes, long legs, and a strong chest. He is a direct son of Missouri Traveler E and his mother is directly out of Merry Boys Sensation who fathered many champions like Southern Jazz. Missouri Traveler speaks for himself but some feel The Sensation Breeding adds a better temperment and a reachy walk. The stud is also the only black stallion out of traveler, and he is really black. He is getting up there in years but is in great shape. Our stud fee is $200 GLF or money back or rebreeding. Mare care is $8 per day â€"nonrefundable. Call to request a breeding in 2013. Limited mares will be accepted due to Black’s age but as long as he is healthy, we will breed mares.
