Consorto is a 15.1h Palomino Lusitano stallion, mostly Veiga lines, with a kind and quiet disposition, beautiful movement and versatile athleticism that would be a wonderful addition to your breeding and showing programs.
Consorto comes from a line of imported and APSL approved Lusitanos that throw and display a lot of color and markings. He's color DNA tested to be e/e A/A Cr/N which allows him to throw Bay, Chestnut, Palomino, and Cremello depending on the color of the dam. He does not carry the Grey, Champaign, Pearl or Paint genes.
He's started in driving training and is doing very well. He's easy to ride, light in your hands and easy off your leg. He moves up hill with little effort and is coming along quickly and easily in his dressage training. His jumping is getting stronger and cleaner as he gets more confident. We are currently schooling over 3'+ fences (on the cross country course he's solidly Novice and doing some training, and stadium fences we're jumping 3'6" clean). I hope to get the opportunity to start working him on cattle this summer; his bullfighting lines should make him a wonderful cow horse. He's easy to handle, acts like an old gelding even around mares and other stallions. He's a wonderful trail horse, being forward and light on his feet make any terrain easy to navigate.
