UPDATE: We lost one of his foals, a big, beautiful black filly, in a bizarre complication in labor (no genetic deformities), but his other has hit the ground! She is a big, beautiful black filly with a superb topline and beautiful markings as well as a sweet temperament. At two days old, she already shows great athleticism. An elegant stallion with striking presence and gentle temperament, Tobiť is an excellent example of the classic Lipizzan. His gaits are proud and floating, showing ability for both a wonderful extension as well as a natural piaffe and even airs above the ground. Under saddle, they are smooth and comfortable with an easy-to-sit trot and soft, rocking canter. He is very uphill under saddle and is a real "Ferrari." He received a score of 85% in his inspection with Dr. Oulehla in 2008, all 8s and 9s. Comments included: This is a very nice breeding stallion, good for correcting lighter-bodied mares. He carries fresh genetics to the American gene pool with an imported sire from Bana, Hungary. His sire only had a few foals, as his career was primarily performance, leaving Tobi as one of the only ones passing on his lines. He is sure to enhance the gene pool in America with his fresh bloodlines.
We believe that he may carry the bay gene, as he is developing more "flea-bitten" speckles, which are generally a sign of heterozygosity of the gray gene.
In the stable, he is extremely gentle and very easy to handle, not to mention an absolute teddy bear. He has an exceptional desire to please and is quick to learn what is required of him. Nothing fazes him, from backhoes driving around the arena to riding next to the pasture where the other horses run and play. He is sure to pass on his wonderful temperament and incredible athleticism.
Fertility reports are excellent, with motility around 85% lasting several days.
