Charisma and athleticism are two words that come to mind when it comes to describing the ultimate English Performance horse. Quickly following those in no particular order are extreme motion, intelligence, and last but not least, beauty. However, speechless is probably the more accurate term when one comes across such an athlete the possesses all of these qualities. So speechless is how to best describe this unique Dutch Harness Horse Stallion... Bassani.

Bassani is an prime example of what a quality Dutch Harness Horse Stallion should be. In 2006, Bassani made his first appearance at the National Show Horse Finals in the Renai Weanling Sweepstakes class. Judges noted at the time what an amazing, yet refined athlete Bassani was, and how they looked forward to his out cross to the Arabian breed. Now, four years later, under the guidance of Jason Chiles of Legend Hall Arabians, Bassani made his way back to Springfield, IL with his first offspring in tow. Bassani wowed the crowds as he warmed up with his quiet, yet explosive natural talent as an English Performance horse.

Coming back to the show ring in 2011, Bassani won Open 3-Gaited at the Buckeye Arabian Show with owner Tara E.A. LaFave on their (yes both of their) birthday. Bassani also won, Reserve Champion SHA Halter Males. Throughout the rest of the summer Bassani garnered multiple wins in Open 3-Gaited and Fine Harness Driving. Finishing up the show season at the 2011 National Show Horse Finals, Bassani brought home the titles of National Champion 3-Gaited Open as well as National Champion Fine Harness!
