A well bred, solid quality stallion possessing and passing on looks, good builds, plenty of athleticism, enough stamina for a good working day, the desire and ability to take hold and control the cow and the speed to keep from losing it. Fantastic bloodlines (Doc O' Lena/King Fritz/Colonel Freckles & Peppy San all on short pedigree) (see allbreedpedigree) - Chex is still my best working horse - still my favorite to ride, check cattle with, gather and move cattle with and really fun to ride in the cutting pen.
His 'grown up' get are quickly becoming owner favorites for working cows, arena riding and trails.
