Conteur and Acord II come from two of the best lines in Holstein breeding. This gives Catan a top pedigree and has heated up expectations, something this goodlooking Hanoverian stallion has lived up to so far exceedingly well. Conteur, who was bred from the same dam line as Contendro, won classes in dressage up to advanced (S) level; Acord II has always been deemed the best example of what a show jumper should be. And both of them have a strong reputation as being highly versatile sires. The Anglo-Arabian stallion Matcho AA and the Thoroughbred stallion Der Lowe xx add valuable refinement. Accordingly, his first foals have that modern look with long legs.
