Additional Comments:
Sams Lucky Spots is a great choice for those of you with quarter mares that want guaranteed color on your foals. This guy consitently produces correct, well balanced and pretty babies, even if the mare has weak points (conformationally) he still puts his little head, big hip and straight legs on the foals. Now, if you have a really nice mare and cross on this stallion, the babies are better than the individuals...which makes him a good sire(out produces himself with a complement mare). Also an excellent choice for those of you with BREEDING STOCK mares, as he is 100% color producer no matter what the color status of the mare...he will be standing at Double Creek Farm for the '08 season, call or email to book your mare. Current coggins req'd, mare care is reasonable at $10/day dry(no foal at side) $15/day wet(foal at side) Yes, this horse has a long back, but...hes very, very smooth to ride(has a wonderful lope) and when crossed on short backed mares the babies are JUST RIGHT!
