Additional Comments:
Athletic is the word to describe Berisco. Fiery, energetic and impatient to succeed, this stallion wins hearts over with his rakish appearance and distinctive grey coat. His conformation, very typical for a dressage horse, lends itself to his extraordinary ability during the extended walk and trot, showing excellenct cadence and control at the canter and an exceptional aptitude for driving.Berisco was sired by Berberisco II, a horse at the time owned by Don Manuel Danvila Diaz de Isla, from Villarcallo, near Burgos, Spain. Don Manuel sold the horse to the Yeguada Militar and now this is one of the very few stallions for which a premium price is charged for his stud services, due to extraordinary genetic qualities that he passes to his offpsring. On his mother's side he comes from the lines of the Yeguadas of Don Juan Manuel Urquijo and Don Francisco Daza y Fernandez from Cordoba, famous from the excellent quality of caballos Cartujanos that they produce.Coming from the bloodlines of this very reputable Yeguadas, Berisco shows never ending stamina, and a strong bone structure, that, combined with his nature, creates a very desirable stallion. BeriscoLive cover fee is $2000 CAD + GST where applicable. Cooled semen is also availableBerisco is offered for sale $45,000.00 CDN // Located in Weinwright Alberta, Canada
