Zips Etched in Stone is a double registered, elegant stallion with the trademark Zippo Pine Bar movement that defines western pleasure. Stone is a 2000 Perlino Stallion with 94% foundation Quarter Horse lines that gave him great conformation with a great mind - and he cannot produce sorrel or chesnut foals. He has a gentle nature and willing attitude.

Stone is double regsitered AQHA and APHA, thus your AQHA mare's foal may triple register as AQHA, APHA and either palomino or buckskin association. An APHA mare's solid foal may double register as APHA and palomino or buckskin.

Stone's gene colors are EeAeCrCr. With a double dilute cream gene he can only produce buckskin, palomino and smokey black foals. We GUARANTEE that you will not have a sorrel, chestnut, or bay foal. Crossing him with a Buckskin or Palomino may result in a Perlino or Cremello of your own! Crossing on a gray will produce color, and whether the foal will turn gray depends on the mare's gray gene.

Stone's Sire is BTS Country Cowboy by Zippo Pine Bar. Sire's dam is Miss Poco Berry by Poco Polo/Poco Bueno. Stone's Dam is Quincy's McCue Tee by Quincy's Reford/Robert Redford. Stone's pedigree includes Leo Pat, Poco Pine, Torino, Dinky Reed, Nick W and King. Stone is HERDA negative.

$450 Breeding Fee includes three days of boarding if you would like your mare covered twice. $50 discount if you mare has points in AQHA or APHA. We have a $600 breeding and boarding fee if you would like to leave your mare for a full month to ensure she settled. We will cover again if required. AI shipping fee is $600 for everything.

Collection and Shipping is $600 for the whole package. We provide our AI samples in a syringe ready to use. Live cover breeding for a full cycle is $600 with full boarding at our barn. Live cover for one to three days $450. $100 booking fee is applied toward fee.

Hold Your Horses Stable - Welcome! We are a 35-acre boarding and training stable located in Central Ohio, 14 miles south of Columbus. We accept full boarders and provide twenty 12'x12' and 10'x10' matted, oak stalls, a 60' x 200' indoor arena with heated viewing area, heated restroom, indoor wash rack, 100' x 200' outdoor arena, round pen, and unlimited turn out in 12 paddocks. Riding lessons are available in all disciplines on our horses or you can load in your own. Beginner lessons available for adults and kids! On-site horse partial leases provide a great way to practice between lessons and learn about horse ownership without the upfront costs. Show preparation and horse training are also available. The Hold Your Horses Stable is a riding and training facility. We welcome volunteers to assist with horse care in exchange for lessons and ride time.
