Summerwood Shai is a beautiful 15.2 hand Straight Egyptian Al Khamsa stallion. Hi is the son of the legendary ( * Simeon Shai+ and out of Saghira a Shaikh Al Badi Daughter. The first three generations of his pedigree are rich with Arabian Champions, nine horses are National Champions or have produced National Champions, and we can't forget 1991 (* Simeon Shai+) won the Scottsdale,US National, Canadian National, and the World.
Summerwood Shai carries all of this with him and he passes it on to his get. Larg body and bone, with sound legs. Dark large expressive eyes that mirror his kind and gentle nature.
He has been shown, ridden, and handled by kids of all ages. My daughter shows and rides and hand breeds him herself with no problems. He is a well mannered boy, and sweet with the Ladies.
Summerwood Shai received a Top-10 (halter) recognition at the 2004 EE. In addition, he has achieved multiple Arabian championships in halter and performance. He has been named Top-20juvenile sire by the Arabian Horse Association on multiple occasions and recognized accordingly in the Arabian Horse Times. His progeny are currently winning in halter and performance.
