Note- he has never sired a non Tobiano marked foal. Yes, there are people that advertise homozygous tobiano stallions that have sired solid non-tobiano foals. The homozgyous test was not 100% accurate up until about 7 years ago when the University of Kentucky came up with the 100% accurate test, so old test results may have shown a stallion to be homozygous tobiano, but there was still a good chance he was not by the old DNA test.

Leo Dakota has nice correct legs, good conformation with good feet. His feet are so good we have never had to put shoes on him and he wears his feet evenly! He has a double THICK Long mane and tail - not the skimpy thin typical Paint Horse mane and tail and he passes it on. He has a long upright neck with the athletic strides of a Hunter horse. Kody is a natural at cross country eventing and jumping and he loves to do it. He is also very fast, responsive and agile at rounding barrels. He has a lot of heart, eagerness to go and acceptance of new things that he passes on that make his foals a joy to own and train.

2013 AI Transported Semen FEE STRUCTURE:
STUD FEE is FREE, BUT booking fees, collection fees, etc are still payable by mare owner ( I am not going to pay out of my pocket to breed your mare for free. As it is I am paying for the stallions feed, care, vet , farrier, and Advertising costs through out the year that you don't have to pay for. )
You Pay The Annual NonRefundable Booking fee Which is -
$200 Booking fee for Non APHA eligible foals OR $300 for APHA eligible foals. (The APHA charges the stallion owner a yearly AI permission fee + also charges for every mare bred + stallion report fees + membership fees + rush fees. Your booking fee helps to cover some of these charges I need to pay the APHA before your mare can be bred by AI. I need a min of 30 days notice to send the request into APHA and they are not going to rush their service back to me unless I pay alot more fees to them.).
YOU PAY $200 PER Each SHIPMENT TO US that covers the cost FOR A disposable Semen Shipping Container, Syringes, coolant pack, use of jump mare, inseason frozen mare urine and paying someone to clean-up and dry the stallion and jump mare before the vet arrives and for us to fill out a AI breeding certificate.
The steps: ..
#1 Sign and mail to us an AI breeding contract for Kody which is located on our website. Use PayPal or send a check with the contract to pay us for the annual booking deposit. Let us know about what months you will be expecting a collection done.
#2 Contact Dr. John Bitter of Argyle Vet http://Argylevet.com to set up an account in your name to collect/prep/ship Leo Dakota GB for you as well as answering any questions you have as far as vet fees that he will charge. Dr. Bitter is competitively priced for vet services in the area that we live in and is far more accommodating in his schedule for emergency collections. Be sure and specifically ask for Dr. John Bitter.
#3 Before you need the stallion to be collected use PayPal or send us a check 2 weeks inadvance of collection time to pay the $200 that covers a disposable shipping container kit with coolant pack- jump mare usage-frozen mare urine and clean up of stallion and mare needed prior to the vet visit.
#4 Have your vet coordinate with Dr. Bitter when the needed shipment is needed.
Note, foals by Kody out of Grade Mares maybe eligible for Pinto Horse Association registration papers.
We help you market all foals sired by our stallions on our website if there ever comes a time the foal needs to be sold! This is transferable with the foal!

DR. Bitter will come out and test Kody for AI motility at the beginning of the breeding season, if I can get some mares booked. He has been breeding live cover and usually settles mare in one cycle. We have not done AI shipments previously with him because of the past high fees that APHA charged stallion owners wanting to offer the service and as nice as your mare is , we don't have any extra money laying around to pay to have your mare bred. I will get some better video up once he sheds off in the spring

Sure, just like everyone else - if you don't get a live foal, we will refund the stud fee that you paid which is in this case $0. Since the fee is free... you will be charged for the use of our time; such as farm visits; DVDs, long phone conversations, etc. since we have no monetary incentive to roll out the red carpet.
