Additional Comments:
Highlife's Diamond Stud offers the genetics of the most powerful Oldenburg bloodlines of today. His phenomenal sire Diamond Hit is a Champion many times over, including titles earned at the World Championships for Young Horses and the Bundeschampionat. He further declared superiority over his peers when the German Ministry of Agriculture honored Diamond Hit as the Best Licensed and Performance Tested stallion of all breeds in 2001. Diamond Hit is a son of the international Grand Prix stallion Don Schufro. Don Schufro attained Olympic status under Andreas Helgstrand in addition to leading the FN Index since 2001 as the leading producer of dressage horses. Diamond Hit's dam, the Elite Oldenburg mare Loretta, is also mother to the near legendary Sandro Hit as well as the Premium stallion Royal Hit having thus created a new brotherhood in Oldenburg royalty. Bred by 1980 Olympic Gold Medalist Elisabeth Max-Theurer, Diamond Stud was imported in utero and born at Highlife Farm in Ocala, Florida. Diamond Stud's owner Joan Sims presented him to the GOV as a 4 year old. He was awarded with an unlimited breeding license given his exceptional quality. This noble black stallion presents a striking appearance with his uphill build and all black coat, complete with four white stockings and a star. His movement is powerful, supple and athletic. Equally impressive is his gentlemanly demeanor in the barn and with people. With a pedigree full of Grand Prix stars, Diamond Stud offers North American breeders a rich heritage of top performers and proven rideability. He is in training at Hassler Dressage and will soon begin his sport career.
