Additional Comments:
Locksley I is a stylish, modern stallion who perfectly represents his top Hanoverian bloodlines. He greatly resembles his sire Londonderry and offers the further strength and beauty of his damsire, the famous Weltmeyer. Locksley brings renowned pedigree, elegant expression, and a terrific personality to the Hassler Dressage lineup.Locksley was the first in line to bring top honors to his highly acclaimed sire and dam; the Champion stallion Londonderry and the States Premium Hanoverian mare Wildblume. Locksley qualified for the Bundeschampionat with an overall score of 8.6. He was the second Reserve Champion of the Hanoverian Stallion licensing in 2004 and finished his stallion performance testing in Adelheisdorf as a Class I stallion, earning a dressage index of 127.54 and a jumping index of 111.38. Finishing 3rd in the testing overall, Locksley distinguished himself as a quality individual achieving a perfect score of 10 for his trot, 9's for his walk and canter, and 8's for his rideability and jumping ability. He is succeeded by two full siblings, both licensed stallions as well, with Bundeschampionat titles and top honors to add to the family accolades; the pairing of the Londonderry and Weltmeyer bloodlines has been undeniably successful.Lacoste, a handsome 2006 stallion by Locksley I and first foal out of the mare, West Virginia (Welser - Diplomat), was approved and named to the Premium ring of that 2008 Hanoverian licensing in October. Lacoste was Reserve Champion of his foal show in Luneberg as well as at the Foal Championship in Schillerslage, Germany in the summer of 2006. He is bred and owned by Zuchthof Priess of Otze, Germany. The Priess family plans to take Lacoste to the Stallion Performance Test in 2009.
