Additional Comments:
SRP Zakhar is a *Muscat son out of a *Nariadni daughter. Both of these stallions were imported from the Tersk Stud in Russia in the 1970's by Howard Kale. They were both halter and performance champions; some titles in Russia and some in the US. *Muscat is known for siring halter and performance champions, including reining and racing. *Nariadni is known for his great beauty and elegance, along with long, flowing mane and tail. Both stallions had exceptional minds. "Zak's" dam line on the bottom side is Egyptian, going back to El Hilial, Morafic, Bint Nefisaa and Ansata Ibn Halima two times. Each of these horses is well respected in the Arabian world, no matter what line one prefers. Zak's full sister, Tevkah, was Scottsdale unanimous champion yearling filly, Ohio Buckeye reserve Champion filly and Region 10 unanimous champion halter mare. Zak was not shown in halter in his best years. He was purchased for his breeding capabilities and used strictly for that until he was finally shown in his mid teenage years by a new owner. We will never know what titles he would have held had he been shown like his sister. Zak is an exceptionally well minded horse with great patience and kindness. We broke him to ride at the age of 18 and he loves to learn new things. The foals we have out of him have the same easy going temperament and beautiful looks. We have a DVD available to people interested in breeding.
