Additional Comments:
Alen's Silverado is a direct son of multi-WGC Spotted Alen Again and a great ride. Very smooth gaited and easy to handle. Smooth enough that the trainer asked to be called first should we ever want to sell him. That says a lot! He's also easy for two old people to handle. We love that people pleasing attitude. Silverado is very striking in both color and looks. He has a nice refined head, strong neck, short back, and good hip. He's definitely a gorgeous eye-catching horse. We now have his first foals and we can honestly say he deserves to remain a stallion. He has improved our mares both in the gait/head nod department as well as conformation. He produced a number of foals before he arrived here but we wanted to see his get live and in person before offering his services to the public. Silverado has exceeded our expectations. He is currently producing more fillies than colts. He has produced the full color spectrum with some colors coming from the mare, e.g., champagne and dun. Silverado has both black and red genes, a single agouti, a single cream and a single tobiano gene. He can produce palominos, buckskins, tobianos, bays--you name it! We believe he has no sabino gene; he'll never throw a tobiano that is more white than colored. We will have him DNA tested for SB-1 before the spring breeding season. All have a more refined head and great conformation along with long legs and a ground covering gait. Contact us if you'd like your own Silverado foal or you can purchase one of ours. To breed your mare to Alen's Silverado she must have a current Coggins, a negative culture and no shoes. There are no mare care charges for mares left less than 7 days. Your mare will be housed in a separate pasture with free feed bermuda hay and two meals a day. She will be hand bred to avoid any possible damage to either mare or stallion. We will do our best to keep your mare happy, safe and sound. Limited bookings in the fall of 2008 and the spring of 2009.
