AQHA Black Stallion. He is tested Homozygous for the black gene (EE). HE WILL NOT SIRE A RED FOAL no matter what you breed him too. He is a Shining Spark grandson on the top side of his pedigree and Grays Starlight on the bottom side. This fine black stallion is built compact and ready to win and he is only a yearling in the photos. He is 2 years old this year in 2009 and has been taught to mount the phantom, collect into an Artificial Vagina for Artificial Insemination and Cooled and Frozen shipped semen across the country. Shiners Dew is already enrolled in the NRBC (National Reining Breeders Classic) in Texas and will be showing there his 4 year old year and will be shown by Darcy Dimmitt in schooling shows, beginning this winter, here locally...he is currently being broke to ride and doing great at his ground work. Discounts will be given to proven mares as we would like to get a small crop on the ground for 2010 when he will be a 3 year old and proving himself in the show ring. His introductory stud fee will only be $600 and includes a $50 booking fee (booking fee is payable with the completed contract/shipping addendum and a copy of your mare's papers at time of booking). The remainder of the stud fee ($550) isn't due until you drop off your mare for on farm breeding or before you will need the shipment if you are breeding by shipping cooled semen. Shipping for cooled semen is $175 and mare care is $7 for a dry mare and $9 for a wet mare. We offer an earlybird $50 discount for booking your mare by January 1, each year as well as a multiple mare discount (mares can be booked to different stallions). We also offer referral discounts of $50 off each stud fee so refer a friend and your friend can also get $50 off for booking with or because of you to any of our stallions as the discount is not limited to booking to the same stallion. We also offer $50 off for proven mares when booked to any of our stallions as well. We ship semen for $175 across the country-2 doses in each shipment and can also freeze and ship semen for indefinate time to breed your mare or mares and lock into this low stud fee (ask your local Vet about storage of frozen semen)
