Kona was sold to us as a beginner-friendly horse, but she needs a rider with experience due to her speed. She's a coming 17-yr.-old TB mare off-the-track who has also been used as a broodmare in the past. She has a lip tattoo and is registered with the Jockey Club.She has smooth, pretty gaits, and a lofty trot. She needs a soft rider who will stay out of her mouth. She's very sensitive and knows her cues. She is VERY fast. She's currently barefoot and sound and UTD on everything. She may be leased as well. We have several photos and videos available. I think she would make a great horse for someone who does not desire to jump frequently. She could do it, but I would be hesitant due to her age. She will need to be re-conditioned, as she is not currently being worked. She also goes western and does trail ride. Vet checks are welcomed. Price is negotiable to the perfect home. Thanks!
