Rollin Poker Lightning Dude Ranch is run by Rod Gaskins a 32 year old male. He is an avid rider dedicated to creating a friendly environment for young or old riders to build a relationship with horses. Rod's background includes a lifetime of equine experience including 4H involvement as well as state and local competition riding. Weather you have never been on a horse before, you just don't feel comfortable in the saddle, or you think you know everything and want to know more, this Ranch can be a lucky first chance to experience the true thrill of horseback riding. Don't get stuck paying to ride around in circles in a flat uneventful corral, I will take you to the exciting world only horses can grant us access to where black smoke rises from the two rivers. (sorry all you ATV enthusiasts but you just can't go everywhere a horse can) If you think complete freedom is a wild fantasy come talk to my horses and we can show you where to find the spirit of freedom. Rollin Poker Lightning Dude Ranch offers riding lessons for individuals interested in experiencing trail riding. Your first 1 hour lesson is free and for $10 per hour you can receive additional instruction and build the confidence you need to become an avid trail rider. If it is your horse that is in need we also offer a structured program that has been created to turn any horse old enough to ride into a world class trail horse.
