Nantua Farm is a 15 acre full service boarding, training and sales facility located in Richmond, KY. While we specialize in retraining off-the-track thoroughbreds for new careers in eventing, dressage or polo, we also offer training board for starting, restarting and fixing problem horses. Lindsey Hays, our trainer, has a strong background in eventing, dressage, and polo, but can and will train any breed or discipline. This is available month to month, but we are very full and busy, so please call us to find out if we will be able to take you and your horse on as clients. Nantua Farm also produces fantastic sale horses that are mainly off-the-track thoroughbreds, so please contact us to inquire about any horses we may have available for sale. While we specialize in retraining off-the-track thoroughbreds for new careers in eventing, dressage or polo, we also offer training board for starting, restarting and fixing problem horses. Lindsey Hays, our trainer, has a strong background in eventing, dressage, and polo, but can and will train any breed or discipline. Using natural horsemanship, Lindsey creates an animal that is trusting and willing to work, allowing any further training to have more of an impact. However, due to the methods used, we strongly recommend 2-3 lessons with Lindsey at the end of your horse's training in order for you to learn what the horse has been taught and how to maintain the behaviors. This is not required, but highly recommended.
