We at Misty Hollow, raise and train registered, flatshod Tennessee Walking Horses for trail and show. Our mares tend to be of old line and heritage breeding which brings out the natural flatshod gait. Natural gait, good conformation and smart quiet minds are the most important characteristics we strive for in our breeding. Beauty and color are important as well, but never at the price of gait and temperment. We handle our foals from day 1 with gentleness, respect and discipline. They grow up trusting people and looking to us for leadership. We generally have an assortment of horses for sale ranging in age from weanlings to 2, 3 and 4 year olds under saddle. Occassionally there will be an older horse or a brood mare for sale. We are always happy to have visitors or talk "horse" to anyone with questions about the breed or our particular stock.
