Since 1993, Willowview Hill Farm has been involved in horse breeding and the importation of elite quality horses for the serious amateur rider, international competitor and horse breeder. Willowview Hill Farm (WVH) is a family owned farm with training of dressage horses by two experienced FEI European riders with a history rich with customer satisfaction.
Incidentally, Willowview Hill Farm also grows and sells organically grown horse hay. Experience and clinical studies worldwide indicate that horses however young or old, may suffer acute or slight inflammatory lung disease from the common preservatives added nonchalantly to hay. You can rest assured that the ad lib quantity of hay WVH horses enjoy from birth, is clean, sweet and healthy. There is a lot of love, hard work and personal attention given every horse at Willowview Hill Farm.

Two experienced European FEI dressage riders providing classical training for horses and riders from basics through Grand Prix. Also experienced horse breeders specializing in Thoroughbred Crosses, Warmblood and Baroque breed horse breeding and provide basic jumping/cavaletti training/trail training too. WVH bred horses are imprint trained and well handled since birth.
Willowview Hill Farm is a private farm that encompasses 76 acres which include several large board fenced turnout paddocks and an indoor arena plus barns/run in sheds etc. All stalls are a minimum of 12x12, rubber matted and all hay is home grown organically and free of chemicals and preservatives. We are situated in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York and enjoy beautiful valley views from our elevation. Located on the Gliboa/Stamford border, our local village of Stamford is known as 'The Queen of the Catskills" and has long served as a valued respite for those seeking relief from the pressures of city dwelling. The clean air, pure mountain waters and high quality rural lifestyle refreshing even the most jaded soul.
Additionally we are experienced importers and exporters of horses, and have purchased many warmblood and baroque horses from Europe over the years.
Willowview Hill Farm also provides horses for use in modeling, photo shoots and media events for film, PR/Marketing and Advertising companies.
From time to time we offer clinics and seminars off site, and sometimes liaise with TheHorseStudio.com to provide trunk sales and special tack and apparel at our clinics.
Sorry, despite many requests we do not take horses on consignment.
We can and have arranged for shipment of your horse purchase to any destination worldwide including Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia including China and Japan. We also offer select buying tours to the major European houses and elite dressage yards for the serious competitor.
