We specialize in starting horses under saddle, desensitizing, and troubleshooting specific behaviors. We are partial to Arabian horses, but love all breeds. Boarding, Training and Lessons available. Respect is a two-way street at Sweet T Farm LLC. It's true, your horse should respect you at all times. But, you should respect your horse at all times too. Horses are intelligent creatures, and it is much easier (and safer) to teach a few pounds of brain than to try to force a thousand pounds of muscle. This is the bottom line to my training philosophy. I do not beat, hit, force or lunge a horse into submission. I utilize resistance-free techniques and use the horse's natural instincts to get a certain reaction. I teach in a way that what I want the horse to do is also what he wants to do. It's simple. And, not only do you have a safe and happy relationship with your horse -- everyone is hapy and calm in the end!
