"Skyland Stables" will be opening its doors January 1st to new Hunter/Jumper/Equitation clients for the 2009 season! We will be focusing primarily on the "A" Circuit shows but will be attending some Trillium shows as well throughout the season for our younger riders and horses, all levels and ages are welcome...
Our facility will offer a 160x70 indoor arena with oiled sand footing. A 16 stall, wide aisle barn with bright 10x12 stalls each offering a window with great ventilation. We have a large heated tack room with lockers offered for each boarder. Our viewing room and bathroom are newly renovated including shower and kitchenette facilities. Our outdoor ring is 150x250 with sand footing and a covered sitting stand for the summer months. Our stalls are bedded with premium pine shavings and are all matted. We have grass paddocks and offer water for turnout all year round. Turn out can be offered in half day or full and as individual or small groups.
This summer we will be attending most of the "A" Circuit shows. We also offer trailering services.
Jenna Rogerson will be our full time coach. She has had students sucessfully competing on the Trillium and "A" Circuit from the cross rail division up to the 1.10m. Jenna is very good at assessing each horse and rider pair and working with each client specific goals to help them accomplish all of their ambitions both at home, and in the show ring.
Allison Zlepnig is our professional rider.
Allison has worked with many top riders over the years such as Eric Lamaze, Jill Henselwood, and Ian Millar to name a few. She has a great eye for raw talent in both horse and rider and has had many sucesses this past season in the Canadian Jumper Development series. Please see our website for full biographies.
We are located in Bradford just minutes west of the 400 at 88. We have board packages ranging from $800-$1300 a month Our $800 package includes 2 lessons a week. Our full training board with Allison includes two lessons and two training rides on your horse.
