At Black Pony Acres we are proud to offer gentle, athletic ponies for all types of equitation.
Our stallion is of particular breeding of 3/4 arabian and 1/4 shetland pony, which make for a very fancy and cuddly horse. All his offsprings are gentle, intelligent and athletic with big bones and gracefull movement.
We have also been very successful in retraining nervous or frightful horses, youngsters, and horses in need of refinement (undersaddle or ground work). I am also a certified Hoof Trimmer with Olds College and can serve in the Edmonton or Cold Lake areas.

If you have a difficult or young horse I am available to help solve just about any behavioral or training problems.
I have worked very successfully with rescue horses (neglected and abused), arabians, thoroughbreds, paints, and drafts.
I have been riding horses (both western and english equitation) for over 10 years and have owned and trained my own horses for 5 years.
I also have experience as a trail riding guide for large and small groups, and I have taught both children and adults the basics of horseback riding and horsemanship.
