Hawk's Nest Farm is a 14 acre equine facility in Louisburg, NC. We offer boarding, lessons, training board and sales. At Hawk's Nest Farm, each horse receives individual attention to ensure all its needs are met. Our clients enjoy a relaxed, safe and fun atmosphere. The facility includes a 12 stall barn and a 6 stall barn, lighted arena with jumps and a client lounge with heat and A/C. We feed top quality hay and Legends grain. All stalls are matted and both barns are equipped with fly control systems. We are now taking boarders and would love for you to stop by and check us out. Our trainer Christina Hutton specializes in Hunter Jumpers and has been riding for 20 years. She has experience with all types of breeds. Christina has been successful on the Arabian "A" Circuit and in the Hunter Jumper world of North Carolina and New York state. Originally from upstate NY, Christina started riding at the age of 7. She continued to ride and show any horse she could get her hands on. She has a passion for training younger green horses and watching them grow into successful show mounts. She is most noted for her patience with horse and student and for producing competitive riders at the NCHJA shows, as well as encouraging students to have good sportsmanship in and out of the show ring.
"There is nothing more rewarding then watching a student learn something new for the first time. Horses are a great way to teach them responsibility and patience, as well as, helping them develop character along the way. Students are reminded that respect for their farm, fellow students and most of all their horses is always of the utmost importance. With the correct foundation and reinforcements a successful horse and rider team is always the outcome."
