Our trainers and instructors at Sundance Manor farms have over 100 years of combined equine expierence. We have had horses and students to win at all levels of competition from schooling shows to the A-Rated shows.
While we have the expierence and teach based on the United States Equestrian Federation Rules we do not require our customers to show. In fact many of our customers come to us to learn Thinking Horsemanship and enjoy horses in their lessons or on trail rides.
Our boarders are comforted to know that we maintain the high nutritional standards for their horses that we do for our own.
Martha & LaClaire have a wide variety of expierences outside of their numerous wins in the Saddle Seat divisions. While attending Converse College, in addition to training Saddlebreds with the late Jack Boyd, Martha was requested to convert off the track Thoroughbreds to Hunters and the opportunity to ride at the Cotton Patch in Tryon, NC. LaClaire chose a different direction and convererted her winning Saddle Seat Country Pleasure Gelding to Western not only won ASB western pleasure classes but also took him to some open shows where he held his own against the quarter horses in western pleasure.
We believe our job as trainers is to build on the horses natural ability to develop each individual into the best it can be. We also want our riders to be able to ride any horse when they complete our program so it is our goal to teach not only mechanical skills but also thinking riders that can handle anything a horse throws at them.
Whether it's riding, driving, show or trail we want to help you meet your equine goals. If you want to get the feel of horse ownership but don't want to be stuck with a horse we have a lease horse program to suit you.
