Hacienda de Molinero Equestrian Center is located in southeast Missouri, just an hour south of Saint Louis. We have 90+ acres of lush, rolling green fields; they surround two ponds, which are home to catfish, bass, and bluegill. Upon arriving to our farm, you will drive down our tree-lined lane; you will see, off to your left, a small pasture used to house our yearling stud colts or mares with foals. On your right is our trainer's home, Nelson Del Valle and his family, nestled next to another small pasture. Driving further down our lane, you will see our paddock barn to the right and the main barn on the left. Our main barn has two apartments on the second level, these two homes are for our full time care taker, Francisco Palafox and for assistant trainer, Christian Rodriguez. Just hidden slightly behind the main barn is our round pen barn, complete with an outdoor BBQ Kitchen & eating area. To the right, we have three additional larger pastures that are in direct view of both our personal home and our trainer's home. We have found that this environment is a relaxing place to train and enjoy the horses for both client and trainer. We also offer other amenities to help you relax and enjoy your time with us like fishing, paddle boating, picnicking by the pond, having a BBQ in our outdoor kitchen, or playing yard games while visiting with friends, just to mention a few. All of us, including our two trainers and caretaker, live on the farm; we are away's available to answer your questions and concerns regarding your horse's training and boarding needs. Most of you know Nelson from his past training triumphs in the Midwest as well as on a National level - he was nearly unstoppable in 2006 at the Grand National Championship Show when he and his clients won 15 National Ribbons. Also in 2005 Nelson helped his clients and their horses win 12 National ribbons. Just since 2003, Nelson and his clients have won well over 50 National and Grand National titles on horse he has trained for not only the Professional division but also in Amateur Owners and Youth Classes as well. This is quiet a list of successes for anyone to have on their resume, but what is even more amazing is this was all accomplished before Nelson reached the age of 25! INCREDIBLE!! Then again, it is in his blood. Nelson is the 5th generation of Paso Fino Trainers. Everyone who meets Nelson will want to call him their friend for they will recognize his honesty, good nature, kind heart, and unfailing dedication to his Clients and their Paso Fino's. We are more than proud to call Nelson one of our own!
