The Mak'n It Easy Ranch is a small, family run business with a desire to share our love for horses, dogs,and other animals with like minded individuals. Currently, the ranch offers riding lessons and herding lessons/clinics, as well as AKC and UKC registered Papillon and Cattledog puppies when available. We spent several years building this facility and are pleased to see it now being used for it's intended purpose--people enjoying and learning about horses and their dogs.
Lessons--your horse or ours, we specilize in teaching the beginner to intermediate level riders. Flexible hours with affordable prices allow you to fit lessons for youself or children into the busy schedule that most families keep. If you have children taking lessons, you can watch at ground level, from above in the observation room, or while exercising in the exerecise room. Stressing safety and fun with horses, lessons at the ranch will build a strong equine foundation and memories that will last a lifetime.
Herding lessons/clinics--we have worked with dogs for many years, doing agility, obedience, showmanship, thearapy work, etc. and are now working with herding. We have sheep and runner ducks to use in the training and for practice --we welcome all breeds of dogs. Kelly Malone , a well respected herding instructor from Ohio has put on a clinic for us and will be returning for more clinics and to give lessons.
Dogs-We have AKC /UKC registered Papillons and Austrailian Cattledogs that have been trained and shown at numerous shows. From time to time, we have puppies available and will post pictures and details on this site under the 'Dogs" heading.
Boarders-we are currently seeking select boarders that will fit in well with our small farm atmosphere and family environment that we maintain.
