While competing with horses nearly all her life starting with 4-H, she continues to improve her education and has worked with Eckert Myners, Hannes Mueller, Alex Wortmann and many of the local trainers. Nationally, she and her horse, Sunday Nite Bingo, placed 1st at Open 2nd Level for the USDF ISR All-Breed Award in 2001, and 3rd at Open 3rd Level for the USDF ISR in 2002.

She and Bingo also earned their USDF 3rd Level Performance Certificate, and multiple awards from the Performance Horse Registry and American Warmblood Society.

In the summer of 2004, Carrie trained in Germany earning the German FN Big Bronze Medal in Stadium Jumping, Dressage, Theory and Stable Management. In 2006, she scribed for a candidate in the USDF "L" judges program learning new perspectives from the judge's point of view. She also designed the Mock Hunt course for the Master of Foxhounds Association Western District Field Hunter Championships held in Weatherford in October, 2006.

Students range from 6 to 65 and Carrie is patient with beginners, green horses, and has even helped those in Western disciplines with the art of dressage. She believes dressage is a great communication tool for riders and horses of all ages. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and watching her clients grow in their understanding and ability.

Carrie is available for clinics at your facility or for judging your dressage schooling shows.
