Shankland Farms offers Training, Boarding, and lessons beginner to advanced our facility also provides Equine Sports Massage Therapy.
Our Farm is located on 100 acres in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. With plenty of trails and fun activities, a day at the farm is anything but boring!
We also have a farrier/equine dentist on site at all times.

Services Offered

Training: Our team consists of professionals who have a plethora of knowledge and ability in colt starting to finished Training; specializing in western disciplines. (barrel racing, reining, cutting, roping, and mounted shooting) We use horsemanship skills and training methods to communicate with the horse in a way that makes sense to the horse.
Our lesson program focuses on making riding fun for people at all ages! We range from beginners to intermediate and offer Western, Dressage, and Hunter Jumper disciplines. We also have camps throughout the summer that offer 20 hours of ride time for the beginning to intermediate rider. ((details about summer camps)) ...

Chris Shankland graduated from the Purcell Oklahoma Horseshoeing school in 2005, at the top of his class, studying Horseshoeing, equine dentistry, horsemanship and advanced horsemanship. Chessie Kopyscianski graduated in 2012, from Meredith Manor Equestrian Center, at the top of her class, studying training level 2, riding master 5 and instruction under saddle.
