I am excited to meet new customers! You may contact me with any questions or schedule a free lesson with me to see if my program is a good fit for you! laura.satern@gmail.com or call me at (503)930-3792 located in Salem, OR

Program Includes: Full time training $680.00 (full care board included) per/month. Horses get ridden 5 days/week; all riding lessons are included with no extra charge. Horses receive excellent care! My goal is for each horse to perform at their best so all care is designed to tailor to each horse's needs. Any special instructions or needs are gladly followed.

Lessons are also provided for non-training horses $40.00 private or $25.00 each for group lessons.

My training program is designed individually to accentuate each horse's natural talent and fit the needs and goals of their rider. I have dedicated my time to learning as many different training approaches as possible because I have seen from experience that what works for one horse may not work for the next horse. I don't approach training with a mindset that my way is the best way, I keep my program open to new approaches and continued learning to follow the industry standards set by AQHA. Another aspect I incorporate into my program is to prepare the horse to fit the needs of their rider. I spend a lot of time working with each rider. By getting to know each rider, their strengths and weaknesses, I am able to prepare each horse in a way that will make that team as successful as possible. I train horses with a mindset of a teacher. In most cases horses are very willing to please and it is my job to teach them the desired response. Horses learn by repetition, which is why I spend a lot of time on each horse until it is second nature for the horse to perform the action I am requesting. One of my favorite parts of training is to accentuate each horse's movement to the best of their ability. I do this by; teaching each horse to distribute their weight correctly, teaching body control, teaching the horse to drive from behind and step underneath themselves, carry a level topline, and to hold themselves up with a soft slow stride.
