We began as farm refurbishment, in 2006 purchasing property that had been neglected. Worked to make it sustainable farm land again. We noticed in our area horses that were neglected, we either bought them or ended up with them vicariously hooked to our trailer when we came out to our truck at a stock sale. Can you imagine? We ended up refurbishing horses, so to speak, getting them healthy again, working them, riding them thru various obstacles, and trails gaining their trust to hopefully be viable companions again, for those of us who love, and can care for horses.... (read more) Since 2006 we have had 11 horses, and have had 8 rescue horses that we have sold to good homes over the last 7 years. We are not a rescue facility but have had compassion for the ones that have come our way, whether we chose them or not.
