Wellgreen Farm welcomes students (of any ability level) carefully selected lesson horses suitable for even the most novice of riders. For those people who own their own horses, you are welcome to bring them for training and/or lessons. Visitors are welcome to come observe lessons in progress and take a tour of our facility at any time, but if you prefer a personal guided tour, just call or email us for an appointment.

Students under the age of 18 are required to wear protective headgear, bring their own helmet if they have one, or one of ours will be provided for them. Flat soled shoes with at least a one-half inch heel must be worn, no sandals or tennis shoes.
We focus on western, english, hunt seat, dressage, jumping and gaited disciplines with the main goal of establishing a good, balanced seat, natural horsemanship techniques, and skills to optimize safety of our riders and our horses.
We offer riding vacations for our guests that would like a customized riding lesson(s) during their stay, in addition to training and/or working on problem solving instruction that is also available to our guests who wish to bring their own horses. We offer on-site lodging and stabling by reservation.
Specialized clinics with top professionals will be organized by Wellgreen Farm based on public demand. We have successfully hosted several clinics on specific subjects such as "Clinton Anderson Downunder Horsemanship", groundworking and starting a horse under saddle, dealing with problem horses, Resistance Free Riding & Training the Richard Shrake way, Larry Whitesell's Gaited Horsemanship Clinic, Liz Graves, and other clinics on dressage and jumping.
Our facility can be rented by an approved group or clinician for an event.

Boarding, riding lessons, training, clinics, scout badges, camps, sale horses, overnight horse motel, and are ever popular leasing! We offer 30 acres of pasture turnout daily, an indoor (60X100) and outdoor riding arena (250X150), a 21 stall horse barn, wash rack, two tack rooms, plenty of parking, and only 10 minutes from Bloomington/Normal and 30 minutes from Champaign. Quiet, friendly atmosphere, on-site management, a complete feed, regular de-worming methods, farrier visits every 7-8 weeks. We are installing an obstacle course on our property this year!
