Hello,

My name is Leah Masters, I am a 28 year old rider living in Palm Beach Gardens. I am currently training out of Dreams Come True Farms in Calossa Horse Park. I am a certified and insured trainer.

I have competed to a high level for the past 18 years. In 2008 I was Canadian National Reserve Champion in Dressage. I have placed Top 10 at US Nationals in multiple disciplines. For the past 4 years I have been in England competing in Three Day Eventing and qualified for Badminton.

I have instructed Pony Club, and guest lectured at Easton College in Norfolk, England. I have certifications through the British Horse Society.
I have experience in almost all disciplines such as reining, western pleasure, jumping, and dressage and three day evening.

In my studies at Colorado State and at the University of Colorado in Boulder I gained vast knowledge of animal care and equine science, which later helped in a certification as veterinary assistant. During my time at Colorado State University I competed on the intercollegiate show jumping team, which I enjoyed the competition the comradery and the experience.

I was accepted to veterinary school in 2009, six months before receiving my Masters degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. At which time I received a once in a lifetime offer to travel and train Olympic level horses as head trainer and horse manager. Over the past 5 years I have been privileged to travel to Canada, UK, US and the British Virgin Islands working with competition horses.

My once in a life time offer came from a wealthy private individual who flew me to the British Virgin Islands to be his head instructor and barn manager for his A level hunter jumpers and Olympic level eventers. Upon the completion of the job I remained in the UK to further my carrier with eventing.

Whilst in the UK I was certified by the British Horse Society in Riding and Road Safety, completed my PTT instructor certification and became a certified Pony Club Instructor for the North Norfolk Pony Club. I split my remaining time instructing three day eventing at Blackwater Farm in Norfolk and giving guest lectures at Easton College to first year college students on the topic of working as a professional in the equine industry. In addition to this, for a local land owner, I set up and ran a horse boarding facility at Weston Hall Estate, also in Norfolk, which eventually lead to me starting up a horse blanket washing company called Rapid Rugs. I later sold this company just before I returned to the US.

On multiple occasions I was hired as a Jockey for British Eventing as well as British Show Jumping. At Blackwater Farm in Norfolk I was Chief Cross country steward for all BE certified events. I competed my own horse, Opal, in BE and BSJA.

During the summer of 2010 I managed a 12-horse facility for a private client for 6 months due to his recent bereavement and bad health. In 2011 I became a Kerrits ambassador to represent my favorite brand during competitions.

My current and future desire is to have a life long carrier working in a field that brings me challenges, excitement and joy.

I am located in Caloosa

Thank you, Leah Masters
