Cottonwood Creek Farm Horse Boarding

Cottonwood Creek is one of the premier horse boarding facilities in the heart of the Carson Valley and has been in business for over twenty years. The facility spreads over 40 acres of rolling hills and contains both green pastures and dry lots with large field shelters, private shelters with private paddocks and a large modern barn where even the aisle is covered with rubber matting. We have 8 barn stalls with attached paddocks, 16 three sided shelters with large to extra, extra large paddocks, 3 five acre grass pastures and 3 five acre dry lots both with 14'x 36' three sided shelters.... (read more) A round pen, hot walker and a very large riding arena (125' x 200') with jumps and trail obstacles are available for the use of boarders. A new lighted, covered arena (75' x 150') has just been completed. Both arenas have just been manicured by the Rock Doc and there is not a rock to be found in either one. There are also two wash racks with hot water available and BLM access is available just a few blocks away.

Boarders are allowed to bring friends or instructors on the property to give them lessons, but as they are not affiliated with Cottonwood Creek LLC they must sign a release form.

We have had over twenty years experience breeding and caring for horses and we use this experience to provide the same care and consideration for our boarders that we use with our own horses. Safety has always been a major consideration and the property is surrounded with sturdy round wood fencing and has an automatic electric gate at the entrance. Both the owner and the foreman live full time on the property.
