In 1991, as an ambitious young horseman, John began his professional training career learning from some of the most accomplished professionals in the United States. The privilege of studying such well-respected and innovative professionals as Todd Sommers, Smokey Pritchett, and Brad Vaughn, along with his years of experience, has enabled John to train champions in both cutting and reining.

(read more) He focuses on starting colts and taking cutters, reiners, and working cow horses from their first saddling to the show ring. John enjoys sharing his knowledge. He instructs beginners, youth and non-pro riders of all skill levels, helping them to reach their goals in the show ring and to gain a deeper understanding of riding in general.
