| Training |
Our style of training is unique, but simple to understand and maintain by both horse and rider. We have taken everything that we have learned over the years, from our numerous trainers; kept what I worked and discarded what didn't. We have also put in a lot of time to train our own horses, from babies to show winners, jumping champions, and more. We have trained dozens of horses from beginning to end, even wild horses. With training, not only do we gain the horse's trust and improve their balance, but they gain confidence in themselves and their riders. I am truly patient and try to understand the "whats and whys" to every horse and their reactions, so that we can then put into perspective the "hows" to fix the problem or accomplish my goals. Essentially, we train your horse to be versatile, confident, patient, and light-footed; without hindering their personality, and while helping you reach your goal(s) with your horse. We containt confidence, comprehension, and patience when we ride, which can transfer to your horse with time.
We train along the same lines as Monty Roberts.
•Riding 5 days a week, 1 hour a day
•You may watch me train and ride your horse to see my progress
• Additional training on an already trained horse, say you do barrels and you want to start jumping
•Refresher training, or if you let them sit all winter and don't want to be the first to get on.
• Helping/working with Abused horses on the ground and in the saddle.
•Ground manners - leading, tying, cross tying, lunging, fly spray, bathes, trailering, picking up hooves, grooming and tacking. Works great ESPECIALLY for untrained horses, this is the first step of the process.
•Conditioning for show season or for riding across state, ect.
•English, Western, Saddle Seat, Basics to Dressage, Trail, Parades, Spook Training, Side Saddle, Basics to carriage and everything in each discipline.
$575 for continued training on a trained horse/refreshing
$650 for an unbroken horse
$850 for a completely wild horse
