Shannon Trails Horse Boarding and Riding Facility is conveniently located in Salem, NH, off of Routes 495 and 93. A family owned and operated Horse Farm since the 60's. Owner and manager live on the property. Housing up to 50 horses, we are the largest Boarding Facility in the area. Shannon Trails is 100 beautiful acres, 50 acres of pasture, 50 acres of privately owned trails, approximately 4 miles long, set up with cross country jumps, wide enough for driving as well, and groomed year round.... (read more) Facility includes an indoor riding arena set up with sprinklers, mirrors, and sound, a large outdoor riding arena, outdoor jumping arena, round pen, new wash stall and wash pad. One Straight stall available $310/month in which horses spend nights outside with a run in shed for inclement weather. Box stalls are $525/month, approximately 12'x12'. Full Board includes feeding of Trotter Grain twice daily, 4-5 flakes of hay daily, and stalls cleaned daily. Turnout consists of 4 large fields with herds, or private paddocks which range from $25, $50, to $100/month. Extra Services offered include: Halter, blanket, fly mask, fly spray, horse walking, 3rd feeding, extra shavings, extra hay. There is a Club House equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom and television. Wireless internet access available. Shannon Trails is a family oriented environment. We host several 4H shows annually.
