Cee's Jumpers

Candyce was born in Washington State, and knew she loved horses from a very young age. Her family couldn’t afford for her to take lessons, so she became a working student at Cedar Downs Equestrian Center in Maple Valley,WA. There she learned how to clean stalls, tack up horses, and study every aspect of horsemanship she could.From there she moved on to working under April Brock starting youngsters and rewinding the years of abuse horses received on and off the race tracks in order to turn them into show class jumpers.... (read more) Candyce learned that horses need trust and confidence to perform as the athletes we expect them to be. As a teacher Candyce focuses on every aspect of the relationship you have with your horse. From ground work establishing boundaries to under saddle building a unity between horse and rider, she believes it takes patience and endurance to reach every goal you may have. Weather it be starting a youngster or tuning up your buried skills, she enjoys every challenge!
