We are a family owned and operated Non-Profit Equine Rescue, located in Okeechobee Florida.
Lit Spirit Equine Rescue(L.S.R) is a 501 (C)(3)* non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter, care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses. L.S.R provides community resources through equine education, counseling, information and referral services. L.S.R is funded through individual donations, grants, bequests and corporate sponsorships. L.S.R was the first known equine rescue in Okeechobee/Fort Drum, Florida.
