Riding/Theory Lessons. Horse training for any breed and many disciplines.
Are you looking for a fresh outlook on how to work effectively with your mount? I am now offering lessons(both theory and riding) as well as training at an indoor facility located 5 mins south of Leduc on Highway 2A.
Lessons can be arranged for times that work well for you.
Individual training plans can be made for each horse depending on what your long term goals are. Board can be offered indoor or outdoor.
Whether you have a weanling that needs to be halter broke and desensitized, a 3 yr old that needs to be started or a 12 year old that you want to learn something new on. I can provide you with the training needed to be successful.
I am fully comfortable with starting horses from the ground up and being the first person on their back. As well as being very particular in how horses are trained so they are able to perform flawlessly in the showring. I teach natural carriage and use no contraptions of any sort. In training any horse; lunging, long lining, round penning work with a "teaming up" natural parelli approach is often used. I can offer desensitization for your horse and work with tarps, flags etc. can be incorporated into their training.
All of my success has been on the backs of horses that at first were high strung and possessed limited versatility, which i then dedicated time and patience into, turning them into "bombproof", kid safe mounts that can still give an experienced rider a great ride. Training can be offered for hunter/jumper, english/western pleasure, trail, gymkana as well as equitation for any discipline.
My most recent accomplishment was bringing home the 2009 World Champion Jumper title from the Morgan Grand National and World Championship Horse Show held in Oklahoma City, OK.
I am also in the process of getting my Equine Canada Certification.
I have previously been involved in Pony Club and 4-H.
For the right individual there is opportunities to show and lease a morgan show horse. This can be any level of competition from walk/trot classes, 13+under as well as 14-17 yr old division. As well as being able to show in these areas there is a youth club that hosts many events throughout the year.

Focus is on morgans and the morgan circuit but training is available for any breed.
